Reading Truck Group showcased two all new product feature innovations:
Proprietary Latch-Matic® System Integration with OEM Chassis Locking
Now available for Ford Super Duty, Ford Transit, RAM Trucks, RAM ProMaster, Chevrolet and GMC chassis. Reading’s state-of-the-art engineering now integrates drivers’ power locking systems with their Reading Latch-Matic keyless entry system. This system allows drivers to lock and unlock their chassis doors and work truck doors from the OEM key fob and their chassis door lock switches. This feature is now offered by Reading and gives crews greater control and security over their work truck and equipment.
Aluminum Service Body Understructure Upgrade
All Reading service bodies now feature an all new 6” understructure which has been redesigned to improve durability and off-pavement capability to best ever levels. The new design has been validated with an extensive program of engineering design and validation testing, including on-road durability testing at one of North America’s premier automotive test facilities.

The Reading Master Mechanic 20-Series crane body is the newest addition to the Reading crane body line up and are designed for cranes lifting up to 4,000 lbs. (20,000 ft-lb) and 60–84″ cab-to-axle chassis. These bodies offer an efficient, middle-weight design that’s ready to lift like a heavyweight.
Aluminum Classic Service Van (CSV)
The high-capacity CSV offers a range of configurations and options to let you customize a work van for your business needs. It is the first aluminum van body built by Reading, and thanks to its commitment to quality and innovation, it remains the gold standard in the industry.
